Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister held a meeting, via video-conferencing, with Dr. Faisal Mekdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.

The meeting reviewed the joint relations and means of promoting cooperation in a spectrum of fields, including economic and cultural spheres.

The two sides also exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual interest. They also underscored the importance of backing efforts to achieve peace, security and stability in Syria.
