A telephone call was held today between Bahrain’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, and his Israeli counterpart, Eli Cohen.

The two foreign ministers reviewed relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel, as well as ways to broaden them in order to achieve common interests.

They also discussed the political situation in the Middle East, stressing the importance of strengthening the pillars of security, peace and stability across the region.

Regional and global issues of mutual concern were also discussed.
