Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister met with James Cleverly, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of United Kingdom (UK) at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office today.
The meeting reviewed the existing relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting also explored opportunities for new partnership and investment in renewable energy projects, technical education and innovation.
The two sides affirmed their interest in encouraging the development of nascent companies, small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The two sides also commended the works and efforts of the strategic consultation team and the joint working group in advancing cooperation programmes between the two countries, and exploring further opportunities for partnership, financial and economic cooperation.
The two sides also exchanged viewpoints on regional and international issues and latest developments. They also agreed to continue backing all endeavours aimed at consolidating peaceful approaches and enhancing pillars of security and stability.
The meeting was attended by Badr Mohammed Al Mantheri, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the UK, and officials from both sides.
