Paris, France, along with European allies plus Canada, declared today starting withdrawal of military personnel and assets from Mali at pretext of lack of justifications to pursue the anti-terrorism task in this country.
France with its allies said, in a joint statement released by the French Presidency, that they remained committed to supporting Mali to achieve sustainable peace and fight terrorism in the Sahel region.
“We all reaffirm our strong will to continue our partnership with and commitment to the people of Mali over the long term to face all challenges posed by the activity of armed terrorist groups in the Sahel.” it said.
