GCC chief: Moscow to host Gulf-Russian strategic dialogue Mon.

The 6th joint strategic dialogue meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Russia will be hosted by Moscow Monday to enhance bilateral ties and serve common interests, GCC Secretary General Jassim Al-Budaiwi said Saturday.

The meeting will discuss the agenda’s topics, which aim to boost cooperation between the two sides on one hand and provide opportunities to share views on some regional and international dossiers on the other hand, Al-Budaiwi added in a statement issued by the GCC Secretariat.

Continued strategic dialogue since 2011 until now shows the two sides’ endeavors to build deep-rooted and robust ties to serve common interests on all levels and domains, he stressed.

The GCC states, upon the directives of their leaders, work constantly on building ties with all countries to enhance the Gulf presence regionally and internationally through being involved in strategic partnerships with several parties of international community, he concluded.
