Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassem Mohammed Albudaiwi, received at the Secretariat General headquarters in Riyadh today Ambassador of the Republic of France to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ludovic Pouille.
The GCC Secretary General stressed the importance of consolidating the GCC-French strategic partnership to serve common interests.
Both sides discussed cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council and France and ways to enhance them in all fields through the 2023-2028 joint action plan. They also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by GCC Assistant Secretary General for Political and Negotiation Affairs, Dr Abdulaziz Hamad Aluwaisheg.
