GCC Social Services Team Meets

Muscat, The Ministry of Social Development held a meeting today with the members of the team work that concern with preparing a vision on the social services that can be provided for the GCC citizens. The meeting was held at City Season hotel in the presence of Dr. Yahya bin Badr al- Ma’awali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development.

Dr. al- Ma’wali stressed in a speech the importance of this meeting that serves categories, which are sponsored by the GCC ministries of development and social affairs such as persons with disabilities, juveniles, children exposed to abuse and elderly.

The meeting also reviewed the current social services provided by these countries to their citizens, as well as reviewing the perception of the total social services that can be provided to serve these categories.
