Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh, indicated in a statement on Saturday, that it was emphasized during the cabinet’s meeting that supplying the airport and the port of Beirut with electricity is one of the red lines that can never be overlooked because they are vital arteries for the country. Hamieh underlined that the same thing applies to road maintenance, which is essential for public and traffic safety, noting that it is impossible to achieve this with zero credits.
