Health Minister, Dr. Jaleela bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, received the Bahrain Sickle Cell Society Chairman, Zakariya Ibrahim Al-Kadhem.

The minister affirmed keenness to provide the best health services to patients with sickle cell anemia, as well as to improve the quality of services delivered to them.

She commended the major role played by the Bahrain Sickle Cell Society, embodying the importance of community partnership in ensuring that all patients have access to high-quality services that meet international standards.

The two sides discussed issues of common interest and ways to enhance cooperation between them to ensure that the best services are delivered to sickle cell patients.

Al-Kadhem expressed his deepest thanks to the Health Ministry for its constant support and cooperation with the Bahrain Sickle Cell Society to serve all patients with sickle cell anemia.
