Health Minister, Dr. Jaleela bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, received here today the newly-appointed Chinese Ambassador Bahrain, Ni Ruchi.

The minister affirmed the depth of the Bahraini-Chinese relations across various fields, especially health.

She discussed with the ambassador issues of common interest, the most important of which are broadening areas of cooperation and partnerships, and exchanging expertise and medical experiences between the two countries.

They also discussed ways to bolster joint cooperation in other fields, including mainly artificial intelligence, preventive medicine and vaccines.

She stressed the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation by activating the memoranda of cooperation in order to achieve the common goals and interests of the two countries and their peoples.

The envoy expressed his pride in the deep-rooted distinguished Bahraini-Chinese relations, hailing the steady progress of bilateral ties across various fields of development.
