In its daily report on the COVID-19 developments, the Ministry of Public Health announced the registration of 1,479 new Coronavirus infections on Sunday, which raised the cumulative number of confirmed cases to-date to 700,943.

The report also indicated that 12 deaths were recorded during the past 24 hours.
