HEAT TEMPERATURES EXCEED SEASONAL LEVELS, CAUTION AGAINST FIRES, SUN EXPOSURE

The Meteorology Department expected the weather to be hot during the next two days, with temperatures remaining above their seasonal levels, reaching their peak on Monday.

According to its detailed weather forecast, it indicated the following:

– General condition: Relatively hot and humid summer weather dominates the eastern basin of the Mediterranean during the coming days, as temperatures exceed their seasonal rates and peak on Monday, with high humidity that leads to an increase in heat

– Average temperatures for the month of July 2021: On the coast between 24 and 32 degrees

-Expected temperatures:

On the coast from 26 to 33 degrees

Over the mountains from 19 to 33 degrees

In the interior from 21 to 3degrees

– Surface winds: Southwestern and western during the day, weak southeastern at night, wind speed between 10 and 30 km/hr.

– Visibility: Moderate on the coast, worsens at medium altitudes due to fog

-Relative humidity on the coast: between 65% & 85%

-Sea condition: low wave height, water surface temperature 28°C

-Atmospheric pressure: 755 mm Hg.

-Sunrise at 05:39 a.m.

Sunset at 07:49 p.m.
