Muscat, Eng. Ibrahim Said Al Kharusi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Heritage received in his office today Daren Tang, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman.

The meeting discussed topics and projects related to intellectual property, trademarks, and geographical indications of the elements and components related to the Omani cultural heritage.

The two sides also touched on means of enhancing cooperation in the field of national capacity building and training programs rendered by the WIPO.
