Muscat—— HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative to His Majesty the Sultan patronized today over the official opening ceremony of the 31st Congress of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.

prior to the official opening, HH Sayyid Asa’ad toured the photo gallery, organized by Oman Journalists Association (OJA).

HH Sayyid Asa’ad valued OJA efforts in organizing this event. He affirmed that Omani media has witnessed great transformations and has been able, with the support and care accorded to it, to keep pace with all the developments and changes the media is witnessing today.

The opening ceremony was attended by senior Omani officials, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the Sultanate of Oman and a number of journalists and media personnel.
