Under the patronage of President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the 8th edition of the late HH Shaikh Faisal bin Hamad Al Khalifa Arabian Horses Beauty Show (local produce) will kick off tomorrow Thursday at the racecourse of the Military Sports Association at the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club.

Marking the event, which will continue until April 29, HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa extended thanks and appreciation to Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, BREEF Honorary President, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his unflinching support to the equestrian sports, particularly the Arabian horses beauty one.

He also praised the interest and constant keenness of First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, President of the General Sport Authority, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to support the championships organized by BREEF. He noted the importance of the late HH Shaikh Faisal bin Hamad Al Khalifa Arabian Horses Beauty Show (local produce), pointing out the great interest accorded to it by BREEF for it commemorates late HH Shaikh Faisal bin Hamad Al Khalifa and aims to highlight the outstanding talents in the Arabian Horses Beauty competition.

His Highness added that the Arabian horse is considered as one of the oldest, most famous and best breeds in the world, and this championship comes to highlight the status of the Arabian horse, its originality and beauty. He added that the championship also seeks to preserve the great historical legacy of this sport, which is very popular at the local, Arab and international level.

The show will be sponsored by Al-Manarah Stud (diamond sponsor), and Al Rashediah Stud (gold sponsors), in addition to Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Group, the Arabian Horse for Equestrian services and Abdulaziz Al-Mannai and Sons Company, the silver sponsors, as well as the Alsafwa Vet. The Arabian Horses Beauty Committee, chaired by Abdullah Al-Mudahka, has completed all preparations after numerous visits to the championship’s site.
