First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa received at the endurance race venue, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh and Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh, while attending the Windsor Equestrian Festival in Windsor, Britain, in the presence of Major General Simon Brooks-Ward.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa hailed solid relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, noting steadily-growing partnership which resulted in a cooperation agreement, wishing the United Kingdom further strides.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa also met

heir apparent to the Duke of Marlborough and Duchess of Marlborough, in the presence of Major General Simon Brooks-Ward.

During the meeting, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa hailed bilateral relations which are based on mutual respect and the permanent aspiration to reinforce peace and service to humanity, wishing the United King Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
