Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, has congratulated HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on the RHF’s winning the second edition of the Prince Mohammad bin Fahd Prize for the Best Charity Performance in Arab Countries, organised by the Arab Administrative Development Organisation (ARADO) at the Arab League.
Al-Saleh stressed that the prestigious prize is the outcome of the unlimited support enjoyed by the RHF from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Honorary President of the RHF, and the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Shura Chairman commended the distinguished efforts exerted by HH Shaikh Nasser to boost charity and humanitarian work, as reflected in the RHF’s activities, noting that the prize adds to the RHF’s numerous achievements in Bahrain and abroad.
He indicated that the Prince Mohammad bin Fahd Prize for the Best Charity Performance in Arab Countries, granted to the RHF during its 20th anniversary, reflects the major role played by HH Shaikh Nasser in the charity and humanitarian fields, noting that the RHF enjoys Arab and international respect and appreciation thanks to its landmark charity and investment projects.
Al-Saleh also congratulated the RHF Secretary-General, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed on the accomplishment, lauding the efforts exerted by the RHF to enhance its role at the local and international levels.
