Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at the Al-Safriya Palace today His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Board of Trustees Chairman of the Al-Quds Empowerment Fund, and his accompanying delegation, who are on a visit to the kingdom.
HRH Prince Turki bin Faisal conveyed to HM King Hamad greetings and appreciation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, coupled with their wishes of further progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people.
HM the King requested HRH Prince Turki bin Faisal to convey his greetings to the Saudi King and Crown Prince, as well as his wishes of abundant health to King Salman, and continued progress and prosperity to the Saudi people.
His Majesty welcomed HRH Prince Turki bin Faisal’s visit to the kingdom, commending the tremendous efforts he is making to achieve al
l the noble goals of the Al-Quds Empowerment Fund.
HM King Hamad expressed pride in the distinguished robust fraternal relations between the two kingdoms and their peoples, affirming their shared keenness to bolster bilateral ties in various fields.
His Majesty commended the noble humanitarian role played by the Board of Trustees of the Al-Quds Empowerment Fund, citing its efforts to support the Palestinians and alleviate their suffering by launching development projects, programmes and basic services in Jerusalem.
HM the King affirmed the kingdom’s support for the Al-Quds Empowerment Fund’s endeavours, based on its firm stance towards the Palestinian people and their just cause.
In this regard, His Majesty highlighted the major role played by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, led by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, in implementing many development and humanitarian projects and providing relief aid to the Palestinian pe
ople, in addition to those of other countries.
HRH Prince Turki bin Faisal briefed HM King Hamad about the Al-Quds Empowerment Fund’s goals and efforts to empower the Palestinians in Jerusalem to support them economically and socially, as well as provide them with basic needs across all vital sectors.
His Royal Highness valued highly HM the King’s benevolent humanitarian initiatives in supporting the Palestinian people in various humanitarian circumstances, praising Bahrain’s efforts in this regard.
