Muscat, His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik today received cables of solidarity from Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jabir Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, and President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO).
Sheikh Nawaf and President Abbas expressed their solidarity with the Sultanate as it experiences exceptional climatic conditions due to the tropical cyclone /Shaheen/. They prayed to the Almighty Allah to endow His Majesty the Sultan with good health and spare him and Omani people all harm.
