Muscat, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave an audience at Al Barakah Palace today to Sergey Lavrov, Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation.
During the audience, the guest conveyed greetings and best wishes of President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people. He also lauded Oman’s wisdom in dealing with various regional and international issues. He briefed His Majesty about the viewpoint of the Russian side on the current crisis with Ukraine.
