HM The Sultan Gives Audience to US Defence Secretary

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said gave

an audience at Bait Al Baraka this evening to James Matisse, US

Secretary of Defense.

The audience discussed the bilateral relations between the two

friendly countries and aspects of the existing cooperation between

them in various spheres.

The audience was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib al-

Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs, Marc J. Sievers, US

Ambassador to the Sultanate and the delegation accompanying the

guest.
