Muscat, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik hosted a private luncheon at Al Alam Palace guesthouse today in honour of President Abdul Fattah el Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt on the occasion of his visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

The luncheon was attended by some ministers and several members of the official delegation accompanying the Egyptian President.

Then, His Majesty the Sultan bade the Egyptian President farewell, wishing him a safe return to his country. His Majesty also wished the Arab Republic of Egypt further progress and prosperity.

On his turn, President el Sisi expressed his utmost thanks for the warm welcome that was accorded to him and his delegation during the visit, wishing His Majesty the Sultan continuous good health, happiness and a long life. The Egyptian President also wished the Omani people further progress and growth under the wise leadership of His Majesty the Sultan.
