HM The Sultan Issues Royal Decree Appointing Non Resident Ambassadors

Muscat, His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik today issued a Royal Decree No. 41/ 2021 appointing non-resident ambassadors.

Article (1) appoints Dr. Ahmed Salim Mohammed Ba’omar, the Sultanate’s Ambassador to the Italian Republic as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of San Marino.

Article (2) appoints Saleh Sulaiman Ahmed al-Harthy, the Sultanate’s Ambassador to the Republic of Kenya as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Malawi.

Article (3) appoints Dr. Mohammed Said Khalifa al-Busaidi, the Sultanate’s Ambassador to Japan as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident Ambassador to New Zealand.

Article (4) appoints Saleh Mohammed Ahmed al-Saqri, the Sultanate’s Ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

Article (5) appoints Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Salim Hamad al-Harthy, the Sultanate’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident Ambassador to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Article (6) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
