Muscat, His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has received greetings on Eid Al Adha from Lt. Gen. Hassan Mohsin Al-Shuraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs reading as follows:

Your Majesty, Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander,

I am honoured, and so are the personnel of the Royal Oman Police (ROP), to express the most profound sentiments of greetings to Your Majesty, wishing you good health, and Oman further progress and prosperity.

Your Majesty the Sultan,

It was the Almighty Allah’s predestination that the Eid Al Adha occasion this year coincides with a persisting coronavirus pandemic whose ravaging repercussions befell all countries of the world, including our dear homeland Oman.

Yet, thanks and praise to the Almighty Allah, nations have been guided to implement precautionary measures. Omanis have been in the lead in applying the precautions. Your Majesty has been vigilant to follow up the implementation of precautionary measures and the utilization of all means to alleviate the impacts of the pandemic on citizens and residents in this country. Your Majesty has indeed inspired individuals and society to act in a spirit of collaboration and cooperation, May the Almighty Allah reward you abundantly.

In the midst of this public mobilization, the presence of Your Majesty’s police is strongly felt at all fronts of action, with ROP deploying conveniently alongside other professional departments concerned. This stand reflects the ROP’s love of their country and their habitual passion to serve it; thus deserving Your Majesty’s patronage.

May the Almighty Allah protect Your Majesty. May He protect Oman and its people and bestow the blessings of Eid on all.
