Muscat, His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has received a cable of thanks from President Thongloun Sisoulith of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, in reply to His Majesty’s congratulatory cable on him being elected as a new President for his country.
In the cable, President Sisoulith expressed his utmost thanks for His Majesty’s congratulations and best wishes. He stressed the deep relations binding the two countries, affirming his keenness to strengthen and promote them in various spheres. He also wished for His Majesty good health and happiness, and for the Sultanate further progress and prosperity.
