HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister to patronise BTC’s graduation ceremony

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Bahrain Teachers’ College (BTC) at the University of Bahrain (UoB) will host the graduation ceremony of the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th batches (2017-2022), in addition to the graduates of the first term of the 2023 academic year.

On the occasion, Education Minister and Chairman of the Higher Education Council, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, lauded the constant support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, praising HRH’s patronage of BTC’s ceremony in which 969 students will graduate.

The minister expressed his pride in the BTC’s achievements, the latest of which was its success in obtaining international accreditation from the US Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).

UoB President, Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, asserted that growing number of students wishing to study at BTC testifies to its success in attracting highly-qualifies teaching staff, noting that school principals and parents praise the outcomes of BTC.

Acting BTC Dean, Dr. Lucy Bailey, said that the graduation ceremony will be held at the Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa’s Hall at the UoB on Sunday and Monday.
