HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s support for Khatwa programme affiliates praised

Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, has praised the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to immediately accept 236 eligible retirement pension applications in the Khatwa Home Projects Program, provided the Government pays the additional contributions to ensure the Pension Fund isn’t affected, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to improve services delivered to the citizens.

The minister pointed out that the directives of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister will motivate home-based entrepreneurs, praising the keenness of the government to protect Khatwa programme affiliates and enable them to expand their business and increase productivity, under a legal umbrella that the kingdom provides for its citizens in all aspects..

He explained that Khotwa represents a pioneering programme that provides a supportive environment for home-based entrepreneurs, adding that one of its main objectives is to form a nucleus for commercial projects in the future, within the framework of the social and economic policy of the Kingdom aimed at supporting all efforts to empower individuals and families, contributing to creating an economic environment for the Bahraini families, by enhancing home-based entrepreneurship.
