HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister issues Edict (45) of 2023

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (45) of 2023, amending some provisions of the regulation determining the wages, employment benefits, and eligibility conditions for employees subject to the Civil Service Law, promulgated by Edict (77) of 2013, based on a proposal by the Civil Service Bureau (CSB).

Article (1)

Article (12) of the regulation determining the wages, employment benefits, and eligibility conditions for employees subject to the Civil Service Law, promulgated by Edict (77) of 2013, shall be amended as follows:

“A monthly allowance for improving the standard of living of BD85 or BD100 shall be granted to employees who are eligible for the salaries shown in the table contained in Appendix No. (3) attached to this regulation, in accordance with the terms and conditions set by the Civil Service Bureau”.

Article (2)

The table contained in Appendix No. (3) attached to the regulation determining the wages, employment benefits, and eligibility conditions for employees subject to the Civil Service Law, promulgated by Edict (77) of 2013, shall be replaced with the table accompanying this edict.

Article (3)

The term “Bureau” (Apparatus) shall replace the term “Bureau” whenever it appears in the regulation determining the wages, employment benefits, and eligibility conditions for employees subject to the Civil Service Law, promulgated by Edict (77) of 2013.

The Ministers, President of CSB, and those concerned, each in their capacity, shall implement the provisions of this edict, which comes into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
