“There is no glimmer of hope on the horizon except for consensus on electing a president, otherwise Lebanon will be dissolved,” deemed MP Bilal Al-Hsheimi in an issued statement this evening.

Referring to the numerous pending issues at stake that require immediate solutions, he said: “From which dossier do we start and about which failure do we first talk…?” He wondered about the constant insistence on keeping those who have failed in their positions instead of replacing them with more efficient figures who can better serve the country and the people.

“There is no glimmer of hope on the horizon except through consensus and effort to fill the presidential vacuum and elect a president capable of resolving the closed doors of crises,” he reiterated.
