Manama, Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Wentao, Minister of Commerce.

The meeting discussed enhancing bilateral trade and expanding investment opportunities, within the framework of Fakhro’s official visit to China.

Minister Fakhro hailed the development of Bahraini-Chinese relations, affirming the importance of consolidating bilateral cooperation to serve the interests of both countries and their people.

He praised their cooperation in the commercial sector, noting the role of mutual visits and meetings in advancing relations, and highlighting available opportunities of commercial and industrial cooperation.

The Chinese Minister affirmed the keenness to boost cooperation, especially in the commercial sector, and to build on the mutual understanding and coordination between the two countries.
