Manama, The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (MOICT) participated in the celebration of the World Standards Day

MOICT Assistant Undersecretary for Domestic and Foreign Trade Shaikh Hamad bin Salman Al Khalifa said that the ministry held a number of lectures to show the role of standardization activities in supporting the various sustainable development goals such as clean energy, economic growth, preserving the environment and wildlife and providing equal opportunities.

The ministry in cooperation with the GCC Training Center affiliated to the GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) organized a training program to include specifications in the education process, aiming to raise the quality of educational outputs in the Kingdom and to spread the culture of standardization in the education process.
