Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Bassam Mawlawi, met Friday at his ministry office with European Union’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Ralph Tarraf.

The pair reportedly discussed the ongoing preparations for the upcoming legislative elections.

Mawalwi held similar talks with UNDP Resident Representative for Lebanon, Celine Moyroud.

The Minister later received UNICEF Representative in Lebanon, Yukie Mokuo, with whom he tackled the means of cooperation between the two sides.

Mawlawi also met today with MP Fouad Makhzoumi and chief of Germanys’ Federal Police Force Dieter Roman, respectively.
