Muscat, The Ministry of Interior announced that voting in the forthcoming Municipal Councils’ Elections will be made via smart phones for voters from Oman and abroad.

The ministry will outline the steps of voting in the next few days.

The move reflects the ministry’s keenness on applying the best digital practices and fostering the use of modern technologies in the electoral process, to help facilitate the mission of voters.
