Israeli occupation authorities reopen Karam Abu Salem crossing

Israeli occupation authorities announced on Friday reopening Karam Abu Salem crossing for goods exportation.

The three-day closure caused major economic loses in important sectors of agriculture, industry and commerce as it was the sole two-side crossing.

Committee for commodity coordination mentioned in a press release that they had been notified of occupation government decision stipulating that the crossway is to resume exportation on Sunday.

The Israeli occupation had shut down Karam Abu Salem crossing ahead of an influx of commodities from Gaza citing claims of explosive materials being smuggled to the West Bank.

The claims were denied by all Palestinian establishments.
