Italian IASD Delegation Visits State Council

A delegation from the Institute for

Advanced Defence Studies (IASD) in the Italian Republic today paid a

visit to the State Council in Al Bustan.

Members of the delegation were received by Honourable Salim bin

Mohammed al-Riyami and a number of honourable members of the

State Council.

Honourable al-Riyami briefed the delegation on the Council of Oman,

its roles and importance.

On their turn, members of the Italian delegation expressed their

delight to visit the Sultanate, commending the progress being

witnessed by the Sultanate in various areas under the leadership of His

Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said.

At the end of the visit, the visiting delegation toured the building of the

State Council.
