Muscat: Some employees of the Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) will leave the university at 12.00 pm today, Tuesday, 4 October 2022.

Based on the directives of the concerned authorities, it has been decided that the employees of the university will leave at 12.00 pm on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. The medical and teaching staff, students associated with pre-scheduled classes after 12 pm , and employees whose work is related to the two mentioned bodies.

Please note that whose job duties require them to continue working until the afternoon, are excluded from the implementation of this circular.

The circular comes in conjunction with the official visit of King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan to the Sultanate of Oman, which will last for two days.
