Progressive Socialist Party Chief, Walid Jumblatt, received at Al-Mukhtara Palace this afternoon, in the presence of his wife, Noura, and daughter, Dalia, Jordan’s Ambassador to Lebanon Walid al-Hadid, with talks centering on a number of mutual issues of concern, particularly that of importing Egyptian gas and Jordanian electricity to Lebanon, and strengthening relations between the two countries.

The meeting was also attended by Higher Education Minister, Judge Abbas al-Halabi, Member of the Democratic Gathering, MP Wael Abu Faour, Ain Wuzein Hospital Director General, Dr. Zuhair al-Imad, and its Board of Trustees Member, Sheikh Wajdi Abu Hamzeh.

Following the meeting, Jumblatt hosted a luncheon in honor of the Jordanian diplomat.
