Manama, Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, the Minister of Justice, received Andrea Catalano, the newly appointed Italian ambassador to Bahrain.
The minister welcomed the ambassador, praised the strong bilateral relations between the two countries, and wished him success in his role.
The meeting included discussions on joint cooperation programmes and enhancing the exchange of expertise in the judicial domain.
