The Office of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Initiatives at the University of Bahrain (UoB) is preparing to launch the (Khalid bin Hamad Award for Graduation Projects) under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).
Graduation projects of undergraduate students in engineering and information technology majors at various universities in Bahrain shall compete for the award.
The award seeks to provide material and moral support to university students by highlighting pioneering and innovative graduation projects that contribute to providing solutions to the problems of the industrial and business sectors, increase productivity, and improve services provided to society.
The Office of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Initiatives at UoB invited all universities to participate in the award and the accompanying exhibition by nominating outstanding graduation projects for the academic years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023, by uploading the selected projects by the university to the website http://hhskaward.uob.edu.bh/.
