Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s condemnation of storming and vandalizing Saudi Arabia Embassy’s building, the Embassy building and the residence of the Ambassador of Bahrain, Palestine’s Embassy building and the residence of Palestine Ambassador, the Embassy building of China, and the residence of the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman in the Sudanese capital Al-Khartoum.
In a statement on Thursday, the ministry stressed Kuwait’s strong rejection of the continued attacks on accredited diplomats and their affiliated buildings in Sudan.
The ministry renewed its call to the official authorities and all concerned parties in Sudan to work on providing full protection for the headquarters of diplomatic missions as soon as possible, as stipulated in the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961.
