Labour Minister, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, the Chairman of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), received Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HE Piyush Srivastava.
They discussed ways of boosting cooperation between the two friendly countries and reviewed issues pertaining to developing human resources, protecting the labour force in the private sector, promoting investment and upgrading the labour market systems in line with the international labour standards.
The Indian ambassador commended the advanced bilateral relations, lauding the kingdom’s efforts to safeguard the rights of the workforce. He also expressed thanks and appreciation for the care given to the Indian community in Bahrain.
