Skopje, October 29 (QNA) – Macedonia’s President George Ivanov met on Monday with outgoing Qatar’s non-resident Ambassador to Macedonia HE Sultan bin Saad Al Meraikhi, on the occasion of the end of his tour of duty.
During the audience, HE Ambassador Al Meraikhi conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the Macedonian President , and their wishes for the Government and people of the Republic of Macedonia of further progress and prosperity.
For his part, President Ivanov asked HE the Ambassador to convey his greetings to HH the Emir and HH the Heir Apparent, and his wishes to the Government and people of the State of Qatar of more progress and prosperity.
He also wished HE the Ambassador success in his career, and the relations between the State of Qatar and Macedonia continued development progress.
Ambassador Al Meraikhi also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Macedonian President and officials in the Republic of Macedonia for cooperation throughout his tenure as a non-resident ambassador of Qatar to Macedonia, which he said has contributed to strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.(QNA)
