Majlis A’Shura Chairman Receives Omani-Jordanian Friendship Committee Delegation

Khalid bin Hilal al- Ma’wali, Chairman of Majlis A’Shura received at the Majlis HQs today Nayef al-Hadid, Head of the Jordanian side in the Jordanian-Omani Friendship Committee and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting the State Council.

The meeting reviewed the parliamentary relations between the Sultanate and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Al- Ma’wali gave a briefing to the Jordanian guest on the Majlis and its oversight powers.

On his turn, al-Hadid stressed the necessity of expanding the joint parliamentary works between the councils in the two brotherly countries.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ali bin Nasser al- Mahrouqi, Secretary General of the Majlis A’Shura, honorable Mohammed bin Hamad al-Masroori, member of the State Council, head of the Omani side in the Omani- Jordanian Friendship Committee and honorable Sheikh Nasser bin Said al-Hadabi, member of the State Council.
