Muscat, Khalid Hilal al-Ma’awali, Chairman of A’Shura Council received today Dr. Mohammad Shtayyeh, Prime Minister of the State of Palestine and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting reviewed the bilateral relations between Oman and Palestine and aspects of the existing cooperation in several fields, particularly areas related to the Palestinian cause.

Al- Ma’wali stressed that the Omani people stand side by side with the Palestinian people to recover all their legitimate rights. He also called for unity to overcome all obstacles and to achieve the demands of the Palestinians.

On his turn, the Palestinian premier hailed the Sultanate’s honorable stances towards the Palestinian cause, expressing his thanks to all efforts made by the Sultanate in supporting the Palestinian people in the current circumstances.

The meeting was attended by a number of officials from both sides.
