Manchester United Sack Solskjaer

Manchester United Sack Solskjaer

Manchester, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is no longer the head coach at Manchester United, with the Red Devils sacking the Norwegian this morning, following Saturday’s 4-1 Premier League loss at Watford.

Michael Carrick has been appointed as the caretaker coach while the search for the next permanent manager begins.

The club communicated the decision via a statement, expressing regret at having to move on from the club legend.

During his tenure, Solskjaer didn’t manage to win any trophies, losing the 2020/21 Europa League final to Villarreal on penalties.

With the club spending big in the summer of 2021, the team was expected to do better and he has been sacked after winning just one of the last five games.
