MARA Meets with Hajj Companies and Campaigns

Muscat, Sultan bin Said al-Hinai, Director-General of Breaching and Guidance at the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs (MARA), met today with the owners of Hajj companies and campaigns in the Sultanate at the Faculty of Sharia Sciences in Al Khuwair.

The meeting reviewed the new developments from the host country in order to serve the pilgrims and to familiarize themselves with the new systems in the development of the Hajj (pilgrimage) process and to identify the new ones.

The meeting also touched on the role of the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs as the organization responsible for the Omani Hajj Mission. The meeting highlighted the services provided by the Mission for the Omani pilgrims, in addition to procedures followed in all matters relating to campaigns and services offered by companies and campaigns of Hajj and the role of the Mission in the care of pilgrims (citizens and residents) in the Sultanate.
