Ibra, Members of the Municipal Council of North A’Sharqiyah today took the oath of office before Sheikh Ali Ahmed Al Shamsi, Governor of North A’Sharqiyah and Chairman of the council, in implementation of Article 14 of the Municipal Councils Law.

During the meeting, a Deputy Chairman was elected electronically by the members, who used “Tanmia” app, which was recently launched by the Ministry of Interior.

The meeting also saw the formation of standing committees, which were the Legal Affairs Committee, the Social Affairs Committee, the Governorate’s Development Committee and the Health and Environmental Affairs Committee.
