Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned in a statement this morning the Israeli attack on Damascus International Airport and the disruption of work in it.

The Foreign Ministry considered this attack “a terrorist act that targeted a vital civilian facility that plays an important role in alleviating the crisis experienced by the Syrians.”

The Ministry stressed “its permanent support for Syria in its response to the repeated Israeli attacks, which it considers a confirmation of Israel’s aggressiveness and its interventionist policies in the affairs of countries in the region.”
