MOH, Oman LNG Development Foundation Sign Four Pacts to Finance Health Projects

Muscat, The Ministry of Health (MOH) today signed four agreements with Oman Liquefied Natural Gas (Oman LNG) Development Foundation to finance health projects, with a total cost of more than RO 167,000.

 

The agreements stipulated on supplying medical devices for three hospitals; Sur, Jalan Bani Bu Hassan, and Ibra, in addition to funding the purchase of computers for Khawla Hospital to strengthen the process of Al Shifa health system.

 

Dr. Fatima Mohammed al- Ajmi, MOH Undersecretary for Administrative, Financial, and Planning Affairs signed the agreements on behalf of the Ministry and Mohammed Juma al-Mukhaini, Senior Manager of Communication and Community Affairs at Oman LNG signed on behalf of the Company.

 

Dr. al-Ajami stressed the importance of partnership between the public and private sectors to serve the public interests, praising the initiative provided by the Oman LNG Development Foundation to finance a number of health projects.

 

The Senior Manager of Communication and Community Affairs at Oman LNG reiterated the institution’s ongoing commitment to partnerships and cooperation with government institutions to serve the development aspects of the country, including health aspects and services offered to citizens, along with contributing to the enhancing health services quality and relieving patients by providing more health care.

 

The signing of the agreements stems from the company’s objective to strengthen strategic partnership to enhance community services and development projects of public benefit.
