Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister, participated in the opening of the International Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha.
Expo 2023 Doha was inaugurated today by His Highness Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the state of Qatar.
The minister said the expo was an important platform bringing together global ideas and expertise, and showcasing technology that supports sustainable development efforts.
He affirmed that the Horticultural Expo will serve as a catalyst for international investment and the launch of initiatives that aim to develop useful environmental solutions and outcomes. In addition, it will serve as an opportunity to discuss the integration of green nature, sports, and human health and well-being.
Al Mubarak commended the advanced level of development seen by Qatar in various disciplines, noting its success in organising the expo which is a unique hub for innovative ideas in horticulture.
